The CEO and co-founder of Finix, Richie Serna, drops great insights at our San Franciso event.
On a beautiful February evening, dozens of Black and brown founders gathered for a fireside chat with Richie. From his humble upbringing to raising over $250 million in venture capital funding, Richie kept the audience on its toes with the company’s success stories. More importantly, he reminded us of how difficult it is to start and run a startup: there are often more downs than ups in the early days.
Following Richie, the group heard about Morgan Stanton, Garland Trice, Tanvi Lal, and Maria Medrano's personal entrepreneurship journeys. Their stories of perseverance, missteps, and success were met with an audience of smiles, clapping, and laughter. We were all reminded that the entrepreneurship journey is INCLUSIVE and not done alone.
